I bought this product because I wanted spices that tasted better in my food. I heard from my friend that Saffron is the most expensive and best tasting spices in the world! Saffron is the stamens of a fall blooming crocus flower that have to be hand picked and dried. The jar has a slight floral scent. When you put a little a bit of saffron in water it turns the whole water into a beautiful yellow color water. It has a red color with narrow on one end a little flare at the other. I use it in rice, vegetables, chicken, fish and other delicious dishes. It has everything I want in a spice, great quality, great price and great aroma, I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves to cook and has dinner parties!
